About Dr Fanny Ballieux

Aesthetics was born out of Dr Ballieux’s passion for his profession. Self-esteem and plastic surgery are closely linked. Enhancing your physical attributes to increase your comfort can undeniably transform your outlook on life.

Dr Fanny Ballieux is a qualified specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is affiliated to the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery (RBSPS) and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Dr Ballieux is also a graduate of the Board Conseil Européen de Chirurgie Plastique (EBOPRAS).

Plastic surgeons who are members of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery have undergone 13 years of training, including 6 years of specialisation. Dr Ballieux has trained in centres of expertise in Belgium, Luxembourg and Australia, alongside world-renowned specialists.

Education and Training

She graduated with Great Distinction from the Catholic University of Louvain, and in 2017 was awarded the title of Fellow of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum. Her surgical training began in Belgium, where she practised for 4 years at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, under the supervision of her mentor, Professor Lengelé. She then spent a year in Luxembourg (CHL) and another at the Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

During her training, she became heavily involved in the Centre for Vascular Anomalies, working alongside Professor L.M. Boon at Cliniques Saint-Luc. In this context, she wrote several scientific articles and spoke at international conferences.

Dr Ballieux then familiarised herself with various facelift and cosmetic surgery techniques at the Clinique des Champs-Élysées in Paris. She also trained in microsurgery at the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore.

Recently, Dr. Ballieux completed a fellowship (advanced training) which enabled her to develop in-depth expertise in areas such as aesthetic breast surgery and facial rejuvenation. During this additional year of specialisation, she worked at the Breast Academy on Australia’s Gold Coast.

Her patients appreciate her frankness, her realistic approach and her ability to achieve natural-looking results.
