Hyaluronic acid
Treating wrinkles with hyaluronic acid involves injecting this product into the skin to restore volume and reduce wrinkles. For superficial wrinkles, finer injections are generally used to hydrate the skin, while for deeper wrinkles, the product is injected deeper and also helps to add volume. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to attract water, which hydrates the skin and makes it appear smoother.
- Superficial wrinkles: Usually fine and shallow, often caused by exposure to the sun, such as crow's feet wrinkles.
- Deep wrinkles: More marked and often associated with loss of volume, such as deep nasolabial folds.
Hyaluronic acid injections allow filling:
- nasolabial folds
- the contour of the mouth and smoker's wrinkles
- marionette lines
- from the valley of tears
- lips ("Natural Russian lips")
